Wang Ke,professor and head of theschool of humanities, SoutheastUniversity. He is also the director of the Modern Chinese Poetry Institute, the visiting professor in the Chinese poetry research center of SouthwesternUniversity, and the part-time researcher in the Chinese poetry research center of CapitalNormalUniversity.

He obtained his bachelor's degree of English language and literature in the Foreign Language Department of Southwest Normal University in 1987, his master's degree of Chinese literature in 1990 in Southwest Normal University, and his doctor’s degree of literature and art in the Chinese Language Department of Beijing Normal University in 2002.Two years later, he accomplished his postdoctoral research in the Chinese poetry research center of Capital Normal University.

He initiated his career in 1990, and entitled as professor in 2003 and supervisor of doctor students in 2008. He has been engaged in the research of the New Poetry theory, the literary theory and the aesthetics. He has published 8 books, edited 10 books, edited (or translated) 6 books, and published more than 400 papers.Over1000 thousand words were contributed to his published poems, translated books, essays and academic writings. He has hosted and participated more than ten research projects. He has won once the second prize and once the third prize of philosophical and social science Award issued by Fujian province.
