主题：Different Political Systems – Different Party-State-­Society Relations: A theoretical overview of different Western political systems and their ways to incorporate competing interests into the political process (不同的政治制度、不同的政党-国家-社会关系：西方各异的政治体制及其把相互竞争的利益纳入政治进程方法的一项理论概述)

内容提要：

The lecture is about the question how in different western systems interest associations or groups interact with the state authorities. I’ll present the structural and institutional difference between corporatism (mainly in northern Europe) and pluralism (mainly in USA and UK). The very basic difference is that in corporatism public policy is determined “by an established structure of organized interest group, recognized or licensed by the state,” whereas in pluralism group interests exist in an unorganized, competitive environment.

主讲人简介：

Dr. Jan Turowski先后在柏林自由大学学习哲学和政治科学，在美国纽约新学院大学做访问学者，在德国多特蒙德大学获得政治学博士学位。博士论文研究方向为社会民主改革、欧洲社会福利改革合法性等问题。曾任德国社会民主党执行委员会高级研究员、德国联邦议院文化传媒委员会成员，现为社会民主党、绿党和工会协会智囊团特邀顾问。
